  29. What I love about this (one of the things) is how this elephant was created using numerous colors and yet he still looks so true to form, and so... proud looking. Great job creating all that texture.

  39. Your elephant reminds me of the local news this morning. Some environmentalists said that we had to return the only elephant in our Manila zoo to Sri Lanka because he was disturbed and his nails were unhealthy! Your elephant looks like he is sad, maybe his children are taken away? Patsy from

    1. Yes, mine is a sad elephant... he was at the fair, oceans away from home, giving people rides on this back. There was nothing inhumane, but also nothing natural or even friendly about his environment. To me he was a picture of loneliness and sadness. The light the sun cast on and around him was the only redemptive factor to the picture I beheld...
