crip·ple adj. \ˈkri-pəl\
being flawed, imperfect or lame.

An accurate description of this pencil's creative journey : creeping along, flawed, imperfect and lame... yet gaining joy, insight and sanity from the mere act of creeping.
hiya, Hmm, I thought I'd added a comment, maybe I'm losing my marbles, lol.I just love your peas! They look so round and squishable. I have done several pea related paintings, I love their shape, color and there's something funny about peas. I don't know why. Thanks for your submission Ihope to see you next week! Best, Jenn of www.justaddwatersilly.com
So thrilled to have found you and your incredible work through Artist's Play room... I love so many of your pieces and will be back for many visits and have now subscribed.... must ask though how do you do it with all those boys.... you must be the queen of time management...xx
Uhhmmm... wish I could claim The Time Management trophy, but I fear mine is the Creative Escapist Award;-) Psychology just have not yet labeled it as a "syndrome" (and may they never find me out), so happily I continue escaping into colors and lines while The Tribe whirls and wars around me:-)
This picture is fantastic, so real. I can relate to the mother, been there :)
ReplyDeleteVon.
Ha-ha, so glad you can relate. Now I do remember hiding peas in every hole I could find myself... but I will not tell them that - not yet!
DeleteI love it! Beautiful color and depth.
