An accurate description of this pencil's creative journey : creeping along, flawed, imperfect and lame... yet gaining joy, insight and sanity from the mere act of creeping.
oooh, this made me tear up! Your painting is so absolutely beautiful - I love the colors and the scratches or marks on him - and that note is precious! I hope it was a wonderful day for you all, xo
How sweet is that! Such a cute note to you. Your elephant is gorgeous! Is this a new one? I wasn't sure if it had been posted before I started stalking your blog. ;) I'm working on our trade, fun stuff!
Thanks y'all! I call this one my "angry" elephant, for it just was not working, so stopped trying to make it work and abandoned all rules and boundaries and just had fun with color. When I was done having fun, this was the result:-)
