crip·ple adj. \ˈkri-pəl\
being flawed, imperfect or lame.
Old English: crēopan: to creep.
An accurate description of this pencil's creative journey : creeping along, flawed, imperfect and lame... yet gaining joy, insight and sanity from the mere act of creeping.
This is gorgeous, they say a picture paints a thousand words and you sure hit that. Beautiful words and picture. It would make a fabulous bookmark. Von.
Well, I kind of forgot how calm a baby can be before they start moving and talking! So I am doing the one-arm thing right now: baby in one arm, cooking/typing/drawing/whatever with the other:-)
Appreciated the bookmark - so different and it tells a story. Liked the quote also. I have never understood how everybody in the world doesn't want to read books, and children today may have to be encouraged. I've always devoured them from when I learnt to read ....... and usually had to be told to stop reading. But there was always the torch under the blankets!
beyond impressed you found time to even do this... and love the proper dud thing... I say it all the time... and give the littlest one his latest hug from me... and one for you as well..xx
This is a cute little bookmark and i like it very much. Additional I hopefully have some good news and possibly lots of new followers because I've been awarded a Liebster award this week and I have to nominate 5 blogs to pass it on to...and I've chosen you as one of my 5. You will see all of the details on my current post. I hope you'll accept??!?!
Just dropping in again to say I hope things are going well for you, thank you so much for visiting my place, and I hope to see your next post soon!. (Remember, they don't all have to be finished masterworks. A couple quick sketches can make a lovely post!) :)
